AI Creates Viruses

An A.I. was able to create 16 viruses not found in nature after scientists trained it on DNA libraries: “These viruses didn’t pose a threat to humans, but the adds to growing worries that artificial intelligence might enable the creation of a new generation of biological weapons, from deadly poisons to unstoppable pandemics.”  -New York Times
